Along side her huge group of friends the only person she considers her best friend is Phil Lester, who she has known since freshmen year. When she discovers he had a new kid move next to him she decides she wants to mess with him. With Senior year right around the corner Anna is determined to make another best friend. Dan Howell meets Anna by causing her to scrape her knee on the side walk, he's completely awestruck by how someone could look beautiful with blood pouring out of their knee. When Anna learns Dan's past is one that left him scarred she begins to get closer to Dan even when everyone describes them as "A Weird Relationship," Anna is still determined to help Dan get over his past and help him gain closure over his dead sister. . . .
