A little backstory to understand this story

You were working on some papers on your desk when you heard the doorbell. You got up and went to check who was at the door. You looked around until your eyes meet 8 pairs of other eyes.

Ok a little backstory if you were confused Marcus is a demon but he is from a different time period. So basically i didn't write a chapter about how you meet him but i will tell you here, So basically you time traveled into a different world where you met him and he remembered his old contract with your parents since they sent you to the modern world for safety. So he came back with you and works with you until you basically spilt a part in the book. for the queen part i put in the queen part since it was my brother's idea.
