A daughter of the Evlen High Council taken. A war brewing between the elves reeling their loss, and the humes denying their involvement. Greed is a monster none can kill. Dragon Slayer was not the name given to him, but the one he earned. Xercsies was a Slayer unique among his kind, for in his left eye was the eye of a dragon. It was this trait that drew in clients of high profile for him and his Vanguard. For everyone knew the power of a dragon could slay any beast. When one of the daughters of the elven high council is taken, the blame is pointed to him as a hume. Tensions between the two races begin to grow while Xercsies is betrayed by his Vanguard, the only one he considered his friend.
