Foreword

The court of Moria is lavish and ripe with schemes. The prince has been said to be courting the daughters of rich lords since he was a babe and yet even near his coronation he has yet to settle on a bride. The royal houses have gathered for the joining of the prince and a bride of his mother's choice. The problem remains that the once noble house of Dormon has begun to dissent from Moria's rule. Maeve is acting ruler of Hiraine and must navigate the dangers of court in order to keep everything she loves from falling apart.
