They say you can't really run from your problems. Sure, okay, great. I don't think it'll hurt to try. So I don't bother to ask where the train is going. I don't question the stranger who sits next to me, glancing around as if he's bound to be caught any minute and thrown off the train. I don't ask when I notice him feverishly scribbling down notes in a book, handwriting sloppy and hurried as if the thing he's writing will vanish if he doesn't write it soon enough.

I don't question anything anymore, because I'm running, too.
