Virgil's life has changed drastically since last October. In the span of eight months, he gained a group of friends, a boyfriend, and an actual place in the world---plus, spy-superhero education. Now, he and his friends are ready to start junior year... but the events of the past spring still linger in their minds, and there are signs that this year won't be as peaceful as the last. And when the Divinity Circle begins to start on the offensive, things go from complicated to bad.
