Chapter 1: An Encounter in the Past

Back home in the jungle, Max and his friends continue their search for the Nature Guardian and his heir while reuniting with an old friend from Max's childhood. There's also the Festival of the Sakura Blossom and Koda is doing his Jungle Rite.

But it seems both the festival and the jungle are threaten when Apachi unleashes the Lièhuǒ the Blaze Stag, a deadly master of fire to lure the guardian out. Max must find the guardian's heir and pass the guardian's test while also saving the jungle.
