"The Great Witch" Shelby of the Evermoor is a criminal on the run from Witch authorities. After a final battle against one of her allies, she decides in the chaos to fake her own death and become an actual Great Witch.

But what will happen when she receives an invitation to a series of trials to see who out of eight chosen witches isn't just Great, but Supreme?
