Nico di Angelo is a 15 year old boy who is on his way to his first day of freshman year. His sister, Hazel, say it would be good for him. When he gets there, in his Latin class he meets a boy called Will Solace. Will seems eager to be his friend, and Nico goes along with it. As their friendship grows, so does their feelings for each other.

Will Solace makes a new friend. He is dark and depressed, but Will is determined to make Nico more outgoing. They hang out a lot, and after a while, Will realizes he likes Nico, not as a friend, but...
