Matsouka Rin has finally moved on from his first love, Nanase Haruka, and swears he wouldn't let anyone get close to his heart, or his place as a swimmer. He returns back to Iwatobi from his abroad trip at Austrailia, attending Samezuka Academy, when he sees an old friend, Yamazaki Sousuke.
