They settle in New Orleans. 700 years of running, and they got to settle, somewhere. Caroline and Klaus had gotten even more closer, ever since they were human. They had fallen in love, and have been ever since they were human. Once Caroline had killed her first human, she activated her curse. Caroline and Niklaus are the Original Hybrids. Then, Klaus had killed the mayors son, and they find a boy in need of rescuing. They rescued him, and Niklaus and Caroline were like parents to the boy.
