Where the air is so clean that the sky is turquoise and the sun is fiery red and orange. The streets are made from stones the colour of pearl, the palace and all the villagers live in the lap of luxuary with houses made of pure white stone and decorated with the most lush tropical flowers all in and around their homes. An unusual beauty is what the Kingdom of Demakria called Princess Allegra. Raised by her father King Judon. Princess Allegra knows she is not a beauty as the woman who are glossed on the Mantri (a device similar to a Notebook Tablet that is used for news, kingdom updates, fashion etc) such as her beloved mother was who passed away from blood sickness when Allegra was 2 years old but Allegra has a beauty within that touches the hearts of all in the kingdom. Being blinded by grief when Allegra was a baby, the King made some terrible choices. One of them was offering Allegra's hand in marriage to Prince Drake of the Kindgdom of Marsudon as a peace treaty. At 18 years of age when Princess Allegra hears of her arranged marriage and that she has until her 21st birthday to prepare herself, she completely rebels and turns against all those who love her to make her lifestyle unattractive to the prince & to avoid being caught in a loveless marriage. When she turns 20 and the Prince still has not withdrawn from the plans of the arranged marriage, Allegra chooses to run away to the land of Refuge, the only land on planet Zandus without a ruler or a kingdom.
