Cecily, Cee, is a Night with no memory who fell to the bottom of the world. She will need Took, a raccoon, and Brace, a magician, to help her find her way. In a varied and frequently hostile world, with magic intertwined in every step, Cee will need every bit of help to learn who she is and where she fits.
