Artemis Fowl is suspicious of the events of the Titan War. So he investigates the happenings and is close to finding out the truth about the Greek Gods and the Demigods in Camps Half-Blood and Jupiter, when he is escorted to Camp Half-Blood and discovers that he is related to the gods himself.
