'Two Months, 13 days...43 days...' Events have never been easy or less strange from the day of my adoption. I will never be able to go back to the life I once had. Although, did I ever really like that life anyway?

My name is Masumi Ukai. Well, that is my Japanese name. I am actually American and its honestly hard to think about that now that I look back on it. My life back in that country, so much has changed.
