After a war that changed everything the only inhabitable place left is the UK. "We are the lucky ones because we survived" they say, but if you don't pass the test you die. If you breathe the wrong air you die. If you step out of line you die. Everyone else died apart from our island. They call us lucky, but being forced to be a slave is not a life, it's a punishment and that ends now.

Blaire's life changes when she meets Nathan. Together they decided to start living, really living, but when they are being chased by death through a broken world, their only hope is to fight back. But how can you fight the inevitable, how do you fight death?
