Description
This is a story set in the world of Krynn. This world was devised by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman back in 1984 and many authors contributed to the theme through until 2010 when the last books for the world were published. They are often referred to as the Dragonlance stories, because such an item was instrumental in places. I will be picking up events at the end of the War of Souls, a critical juncture in the course of events on Krynn. Other books were published that related events after this point, but I will not be factoring those events in: this will be an 'alternate history' for the world. I must pay my respects to Weiss and Hickman for their marvelous creation, with vibrant down-to-earth characters and world changing plotlines: thank you. In this story, we will visit regions under control of the Dark Knights. The Legion of Steel, operating covertly against these oppressors, runs cells in the towns and operating as traveling merchants. The story starts out with one such group receiving a dangerous mission: they must prevent the Dark Knights from capturing an individual who can lead them to the Tower of High Sorcery in the Forest of Wayreth. The group grows as does the story, and the Legion cell leader is placed under more and more responsibility, trying to keep everyone safe against the fiendish enemy. No dice were rolled in the creation of this story. Also, please note that while I have used the romance tag, this is not a romance story, just a story with elements of romance in it.
