Maya and her twin Mel find themselves in Forks, Washington for the second time in their lives. A cold, dreary place that puts a smile on their faces despite the fact that it holds heartbreak and death. Their mother having been part of the Quileute tribe made them cousins to Jacob Black. Many things will change at the drop of a dime when Maya and her family walk up to the rez. Blood will be shed along with tears, both happy and sad as the twins make their new lives in Forks. "Seth pulls away a little to look into Maya's face. Tear streaks stain her caramel and honey complexion as her round lips are swollen and red. If it weren't for how upset she was, Seth would say she looked like an angel. The red that rims her mismatched eyes makes them stand out even more and he is reminded of the first night they spent together on the beach outside of Sam's house.
