Prologue: Ruben

When a young orphan named Ruben finds out the truth about her family, she's frightened by it. When a strange boy named Voyde came, Ruben was surprised by him. After she met once, she never saw him again. Until one day, they meet again, and not on the same circumstances.

"Ruben, there are dangers I can't protect you from..." Carter said worried and he took my hand.

"Then don't try to protect me," I told him my eyes full of the pain I didn't want him to understand.
