Kimberly Gao's life takes an unexpected turn when she joins the new karate dojo alongside her friends. While initially the harsh training proves to be beneficial for her, things take a dark turn when John Kreese, her sensei's former teacher shows up seemingly out of the blue. Kim's personality goes through drastic changes under the man's influence, and she slowly begins to lose herself along the way.
