Kai Parker is a sociopath who has been in prison for ten years. His father (Joshua) and sister (Josette) who have trapped him there with their powerful magic. Kai has finally escaped and returned to our world, where he now finds himself at Mystic Falls, but without magic!
All he wants now is revenge against his family. He's going to kidnap a girl to assist him in exacting his revenge, and she'll be just as insane as him.
