After a nuclear war is set loose in two countries, damaged missiles leak liquid fuel and toxins. When said liquid is affected by even the slightest amount of heat, it evaporates into a mist that turns people rabid and murderous.

Seventeen-year-old Jonah Ashford is trying to find his eight-year-old sister who is separated from him in a tragedy among their small group.

Moral of the story? Life sucks, especially in the apocalypse.
