Kiara Takanashi is a phoenix. Ever few hundred years, she dies, accidentally, or because her time to be reborn arrives. Every time, the reaper that visits her is Calliope Mori, who helps her decide where to go next. Against Calliope's interests, Kiara wants to go to Earth, with her 'best friend'. Together, they'll go on many adventures, while trying to hide their true selves from humans.
