I'm at a loss for words. What do you even say to that? My entire life I've been called a disappointment. I couldn't do a thing right, and now this amazing man is telling me he isn't mad at me and that I didn't do anything to disappoint him. I probably look like a fish gasping for air right now, but I don't care. The pressure of oncoming tears is building in my eyes, and I feel a warmth spreading in my chest. Suddenly I realize what that warmth I'm feeling is... Hope. Hope that what Xavier said is true. I want to believe him, but I don't. Not yet - not completely... so for now, I cling to the hope he means it and the emotion in his eyes. * Currently ON HOLD until july 2022. At the moment I'm too busy with school and work to write and post according to a schedule.
