Background

Ellery Greengrass has been best friends with Blaise Zabini ever since they were little. When she and Blaise enter their 5th year as Slytherins, Blaise starts to act different. He's more emotional and can't quite figure out what has changed with his friendship with Ellie. Ellie is concerned for him and can't figure out what the root of his actions might be. It takes time, but Blaise comes the the realization that while he tried to avoid her, he's fallen madly in love with her. Can their friendship be saved, or will they become more?
