Author's Note

Having no idea she's a part of a tradition that forces her to get married, Joanna's already planned her life: focus on school, go to college, and move out of the poor town she's always known.
On the other hand, her soon-to-be husband has known about the tradition since he was six years old, being told marriage was secret. That Liam had a duty to pursue and that if anything went wrong, he'd lose his family forever.
However, even with the risk of being disowned, will Joanna decide to run away due to the fear of her living a life like her mother's: full of arguing and despair? Or will she find some sort of will to marry Liam and complete the task she never knew she had to do?
