Nearly 100 years ago a virus swept the nation. Nearly 100 years ago, the nation had to rebuild itself piece by piece. The only catch-nobody knows. Because the virus didn't kill anybody, not directly. So what did it leave in its wake? Thousands of people with abilities nobody knows about, only one place they can go, and it continues to affect more and more. Bianca Angileou grew up never knowing anything about the mysterious virus until tragedy struck. At seven years old she was brought to the abilicenter, and now she's the same as everyone else around her. But now at sixteen years old she's sent on a mission to find someone who might not get that same chance. Someone who if persuaded could end up as her enemy-and it's up to her to keep him alive.
