Prologue

Jacob who has been a hopeless romantic his whole life and just broke up with his first boyfriend Max decides to use his winter break to de-stress from the craziness of last semester and step back from his love life. He ends up meeting Derek, a new co-worker at his uncle's comic book store, and quickly catches feelings for him. The chemistry between the two seems to be undeniable but the only thing is...Jacob and Derek can't be together. No matter how hard he tries, Jacob tries to get over Derek and he just can't. No matter what his head says he can't ignore how his heart feels. "Hopelessly Hung Up On You" is a story about love, introspection, and life. It focuses on Jacob's journey in this game called life, against one of his biggest rivals, love, and is sure to be a wild ride.
