Author's note/Prolouge

Simming looked at the scrolls over and over again and sighed. Why was fate so cruel and destiny so unpredictable. Four innocent souls have to suffer the pain of love, separation and rejection. It was really cruel.

The little white snake was crawling her way on the snow covered path. If not for the continuous movement you would think it was snow. The little snake was drawn by the sound of a qinqu.

A man dressed in dark blue robes strung a delightful tone on the qinqu. The snake came up to the man and crawled on his shoulder closing its eyes and swaying to the tone. The man's lip curved into a light smile.
