Chapter 1

Revelynn is an 18 year old girl living with her mother, father, and four other siblings in a small, poor village under the rule of a tyrannical king who controls the human territories. When Revelynn is caught stealing herbs to help her dying mother, she believes she will be killed for her crimes. The king, on the other hand, has differing plans for the resourceful thief. When Revelynn is thrown in a world of princes and princesses, kings and queens, and a threat lurking right oustide the borders of their small country, will she see through the lies or will she fall victim to the king's alluring promises, will Revelynn stay focused on her task or will a captivating prince distract the her?
