"Carmen," Michael smiles at me. "Mia should be home any minute." He opens the door, allowing me to walk in.
"Oh ok," I take a second to admire his appearance. The way his muscles flex as he grabs something from the kitchen cupboard.
"Are we gonna talk about the other night?" Michael freezes in place, nothing coming from his mouth.
"Carmen, great you're here!" My best friend slams the front door dragging me up to her room.
I look down at Michael and his lips are pulled into a smirk as he leans on the counter.
