Since the 17th century when pioneers came over from Europe to start a new life, witch hunting was always an issue. 4 out of the 5 families made it to America and settled down in Massachusetts.

As each generation of boys came about, there was always another magical creature looming around, protecting the 4 families descendants from any majorly spiteful acts upon them.

Angelica Stevens had lived in Ipswitch her entire life, well the life she associated with the 4 boys. Her mission was to protect them, she didn't intend on falling madly in love with one.

Angelica had to make a choice. This choice were to affect her whole being and soul as one. So, dying was not an option for her.
