Prologue

The change of climate was seen as a problem,
That it could be a life of death situation.
We ignored it, leaving the problem to future generations.
The consequences came sooner than we thought.

We thought it'd affect the plants, the wildlife.
Not us.
We never thought that we would turn on each other.
We never thought we'd go insane.
We never thought we had it inside us to murder.
We never realised memories could haunt us so badly.

When our bodies rot away,
And we all turn into monsters,
We watch our friends and family turn.
As we live longer, we rot more.
If we're going to turn anyway,
What is the point of living?
