Alfie is Remus Lupin secret son which he's been hiding away for 13years. But he finally lets him go attend Hogwarts at the start of the 3rd year.

Alfie is the only son of Remus, but their relationship hasn't been the best.
After Alfie's mother died he has been living with his Father.
Remus knew nothing about parenting what so ever. He also had to carry the burden of knowing he passed his condition down to his only child.
