Naomi Morris lives an average, boring teenage life. That is up until a strange old man moves into the house next door with only a single box. One day, she sneaks into his house and inside she finds something she never would have imagined. Something that gives her what she's always wanted: Freedom.

She finds herself in a forest with the old man under an unfamiliar sky. Everything seems relatively normal, but that ends right as a dragon flies overhead.

Naomi and this mysterious old man become wrapped up in a quest to save this strange land from a prophesied downfall, and along the way learn that there are some sinister strings being pulled beneath the mystical surface on the continent of Aramora.
