They had just wrapped the end of the season and Katie has to spend Christmas a lone after getting cheated on by her ex boyfriend Melissa doesn't want Katie to spend it alone so she offers Katie to go back with her California with her to spend Christmas with her and her family (Her mom-Eliza ,Dad-Mark, Sister-Beth)
