Being queer isn't the easiest shit.

Being queer and living in small town South Dakota is by far the most difficult shit.

Unfortunately, five extremely queer teens are forced to navigate through the shitstorm of their senior year when everything around them erupts.

Or in simpler terms- it all goes to shit.

EVELYN PÉREZ is supposed to have it all. Almost every male in Aspen High is at her feet, so no one can know that she's secretly in love with Riya Khatri, the outcast of the school.

SOREN CHOI is tired of the casual mistreatment that he deals with 24/7. Little do people know that Soren is also grappling with his past, something he can barely understand himself.

DAMIEN SMITH-CORTÉZ has been taught to hate who he is. It doesn't help that Soren Choi is catching his attention in more ways than one. Ways that are bringing uncomfortable feelings to the surface.

BLUE MAXWELL needs to get away from Aspen High. From the eyeliner that he wears through the hallways to the feminine aura he emits, he's never felt quite at home. Not to mention the frequent beat-ups.

RIYA KHATRI has everything to lose, but not a lot to gain. With divorced parents and a recomposed family, she's barely hanging on to who she is. So, she keeps her head down. After all, if Riya can't believe in herself, who will?

Five teenagers, a multitude of problems and only 8 months to solve them. If they're lucky, they might find out their lives are more intertwined than they thought.

The queerest kids at Aspen High need to come to terms with who they really are.

Or at least, who they were before the world told them who to be.
