Kazuma Asougi, a 23 year old Defense Attorney finds his best friend in danger. Naruhodo Ryunosuke got arrested for a crime he did not commit. The victim, Misaki Yoshida, died from a fatal stab wound in the chest. But during trial, It went bad, due to him, being traumatized by the actual killer. Asougi, decided that he would defend Naruhodo with his might, since Naruhodo couldn't defend himself.

He was asked many times by Naruhodo if he could defend him, but Asougi's mind kept telling him no, because of the Professor Killings Incident. He took time think about saving his best friend. He took the case, and investigated throughly. Will he save his best friend from this case, or will the verdict be Guilty?
