Description
astraphobia • [ æstrəˈfəʊbɪə ] an irrational or disproportionate fear of thunder and lightning. This book is the sequel to 'The Hyenas'. With his return, George finds out his challenges don't simply disappear with his crossing of the Safe Border. Four weeks outside the wall have taken its toll on him, and he battles internal conflict as he gets used to his new life, and to his new self. One feeling overpowers all other emotions he has: he needs to protect his loved ones from the looming danger he senses. He must figure out a way to keep Clay safe, and he finds himself willing to risk it all, in order to guarantee his protection. Trigger warnings: - mental disorders (PTSD)/mental illness - violence/blood/death - angst - flashbacks & panic attacks Mental disorders/mental illness will be part of the main plot of the story, and will therefore not be included in separate trigger warnings. Chapters containing other possible triggers will be marked as such at the top of the chapter. I'd like to clarify that I did thorough research about PTSD before and while writing about the disorder. I have no intent of disrespecting anyone who suffers from it, and will not romanticize it in any way. The way PTSD is experienced differs per person. If you know anyone who suffers from it, learn how to help them in the way they feel comfortable with. This story has no intent of forcing a fictional ship onto real life. Dream and George have expressed they are fine with shipping, and should they ever change their mind, I will gladly take this story down. This story is written with respect towards the content creators it's about, and I will always remain considerate of what I write. This story does not contain smut.
