Xavia Scythe was never in one place for too long. As a loner, a drifter, she stuck to human territories to keep from coming in contact with the hostile packs she knew surrounded the states. Her life had been one tragedy after the next, leaving her as the loner she had become.

After stopping in a one-horse town, Xavia meets the reason, or reasons, exactly why she stuck to human territories.

And unfortunately, they won't let her leave.
