Chapter 1

Ava is afraid of a lot of things. She refuses to go to school (homeschooled and proud, my friends). And she doesn't need any new friends, the one she has is fine- if only her friend would shut up about her new boyfriend. What Ava needs is a job. Some pocket money and a way to spend the summer out of the house.

And things are looking up for Ava! She gets a job at a cute lemonade corner cafe called Lemons and Citrus, and she finally finishes a song for once.

But then that song goes viral.

Ava doesn't know how to deal with her newfound fame, her new friends, and her cute coworker Carter.

This summer just started but it might just be a total train wreck!
