5 years have passed, and the narrator of CVU Part 1 is ready to come south from the Canadian wilderness to avenge his family, grown strong and strange. Known as the vogelfrei - vampiric for 'bastard' - and as the Angry Son to guardian spirits, he has little idea of whose toes he is stepping on. Or sledgehammering. But these are no isolated tribes or clans: he is poking an entire civilization of the monstrous undead.
