When Rose Michaels was turned into a vampire, her life went to hell. She did not handle the transition to an immortal being well, and ended up becoming something that she never wanted.

After she ends up killing the wrong person, she finds a temporary safe haven in the small Kansas town of Winston Heights. Soon after moving there, she befriends a small group of guys that have been nearly inseparable since birth. But then Rose starts to hear rumors about things that happened years ago - things that involve her newfound friends...
