💞 New Christmas 2020 Completed on 03/14/2021 They're too young to have a child that old. At least that's what he thought as he looked out his conference room window in Manhattan. A dream brought him to the big city but his heart will always call him home to Holiday Hills. The one place on earth where it's always Christmas. On this night for the last eighteen years, he as wished he could see the stars that are rarely visible in the big city. He remembers all the wishes she would make when she looked up and found the brightest one of all. She stood under the stars, wishing upon that one brightest star, just as she has every year on this night. A miracle kept her in Holiday Hills but the love of her life was out there somewhere and she wondered if they stood under the same stars. She imagined him growing up in a safe home, how handsome he must be at the tender young age of eighteen. Three years older than she was the moment she had to say hello and goodbye on the same day. Anyone who says love at first sight doesn't exist hasn't given life to a child. Most women her age are just now starting their families and experiencing pregnancy at thirty three. She was fifteen when she fell in love for the second time. Far too young to get married or plan a future with the boy who gave her that perfect little baby. That boy is now a man, living his dreams in Manhattan, forgetting the one girl that gave up her own dreams to give him the chance at a bright future. She refused to run away with him, knowing if she did his future would look bleak at best. It was love that left her lonely in that small town and it's love that keeps her there, hoping one day her biggest secret would find her. Little did she know, in a city not far away a young man on the brink of adulthood and wished upon the same star. To find the birth parents that loved him enough to give him a family. He made a promise that night, one that will make this year one to remember.
