Miley Valentine moved from NYC to Portland, Oregon (Rip City). She's the introvert kind of person, but once she trusts you enough and gets out of her shell, she'll show you an introvert person who uses jokes and sarcasm as a defense mechanism and a way of avoiding serious conversations.

Jackson Passaglia, the school's trouble maker, the kind that does no strings attached type of relationships. Gets himself in trouble all the time, and doesn't bother with school. But he's got to watch out he's a senior, and college comes next.

What happens when he gets her into detention with him, and she completely changes him, whilst he changes her.
