Will and alis had a baby girl, which is the reader. Will trains you to be a ranger, but this goes wrong when you are 17. Alis/your mom dies. You just take your ranger stuff and leave after writing a note for Will and leaving it on the table for him. On your journey to find a place to go, you find the herons and go to Skandia. You are quickly a member of the herons, and Lydia's best friend. You fall for hal hard and he falls for you too.
