❝ leafshine can only hope ❞ 200 years after the events of the Broken Code, Leafshine is born into ThunderClan. But not the ThunderClan of the past. This is a twisted ThunderClan, where every cat obeys unwritten rules, without questioning them. Cats who put a paw out of line are executed, while cats who meekly follow them are promoted, rewarded. Every generation five cats are chosen. They are the elite, the untouchable, the best and bravest. Nobody dares to contradict them, the Clans will even bend to their will. But they are only puppets controlled the Clan leaders, who are puppets controlled by StarClan. StarClan is a corrupted place, where Bluestar and Yellowfang reign supreme. Firestar is already in the shadows, while the Dark Forest is no more than some eldery, grizzled, defenseless cats. Medicine cats poison ones whom they hate, and are rewarded by StarClan. Leafshine is unaware of the tragedy that is behind her, and as a Chosen, she has to always be in the spotlight.
