Rock Lee of the Hidden Leaf village is sent as a diplomat to the Hidden Sand village. He is tasked with being a military liason for the Sand village. Lee isn't sure what to make of Gaara at first. He isn't even sure Gaara likes him. But as they grow closer, Lee sees something in the other boy.
