Description
Half a kingdom collapsing into a hellish cavern below the Earth, the second half willing to let them crumble to their demise. A king is forced to watch his half of the kingdom fall, too prideful to reach to King Marcel for help. Not like he would if King Luke actually did ask for help. The before-mentioned king believes that this is what they deserve. How can a King be so heartless? As the fissure grows wider, the Kings are forced to come to terms. What forces them? Not the death of dozens of innocent people, but a commoner living next to the fault in the Earth. But how? What is special about him? Better Summary: Luke and Marcel are Kings of conjoined kingdoms. Luke's half is slowly sinking into the Earth. As his people die, he finally reaches out for help from his neighbor king. But, Marcel is still bitter over the past, and seems to refuse. To calm the outraged public from his selfish decision, King Marcel holds a large ball in his gorgeous castle, inviting all from both Kingdoms. King Luke attends to make amends. While at the gathering, baby blue eyes snag his focus. He is immediately head-over-heels for the fair stranger, but Marcel also eyes the mysterious man.
