Description
Joyce has been working as a servant at the court of her small County for about a year. She has no one left outside the palace whom she'd really hold dear, so the isolation of the palace staff doesn't bother her. Inside she formed new friendships and managed to ruffle some feathers, but overall her life is enjoyable, although not so eventful. She is far from complaining of course, grateful she nailed the opportunity of living a richer and more prosperous life than the general population of the County, which had seen better days. In just a few days Joyce's perception of her reality morphs from something safe and rather dull to gradually more terrifying as she and her colleages learn more and more of the world which they have been shielded from. Walls of the palace, walls of the County, walls of the sky. All come crushing down and reveal a much greater, beautiful yet sinister picture. Greater life. Tremendous sacrifice and a new-born generation, facing a heavy task: gust the clouds apart or let their menace engulf you.
